About Warren

A native of Sheridan Wyoming, Warren W. Adams was raised on Beaver Creek. His self-taught, detailed style makes his art truely realistic and unique.
Inspired by the natural beauty and open spaces of Wyoming, Warren has a unique ability to paint landscapes as if humans have not encroached upon them.
Warren makes his home, with his wife Deb, on their ranch East of Sheridan Wyoming.


Warren's Accomplishments

Among his accomplishments are exhibiting at the Wyoming Goveners Capitol Art Show and the Congressional Art Exhibition. His work was chosen for the label of Koltiska Original Liqueur and he has had a painting purchased for the Wyoming Museum Permanent Art Collection.
Most recently, he was the 2007 Region III winner for Paint the Parks and a Purchase Award winner at the Heart of the West Show and Sale.

Mediums and Styles

Warren works primarily in oils. However, he occasionally works with watercolor, pen and ink, pastels, or colored pencils.


Where Warren gets his Inspiration

The natural beauty of Wyoming is inspiration for Warren's work. Warren enjoys painting western scenes and wildlife and has a strong desire to portray the grandeur of Wyoming's open spaces before they disappear.
