Step into my Laboratory

Turning a card game into a board game

So after pricing out posters that should be the right size for the Laboratory for Mad Scientist: the Game, I realized I needed to go back to the drawing board. Seriously, the prices on these things are quite high – too high for the game I want to create unless I want to price it out of the target market.

After some serious thinking and a few failed attempts to find something cheaper in the poster plan, I took another look at creating an actual board for the game and being done with it.

And now that it’s completed and sent off to the printers, I’m quite pleased I had to go down this path.

Here’s the completed image:

Step into my laboratory

Pretty cool no? Imagine it as a 17″ x 22″ 4-fold board-game board, covered with the actual cards at the beginning of the game… I can’t wait to see it printed up and ready to play.

I’ll let you know when I get the prototype and we can examine it together.
