I have a challenge for you.

Take a bit of time to navigate over to Casting Shadows and read Runeslinger’s newest article on Playing to a Genre.

I know, good read right? Bit lengthy but the good stuff’s right there near the end. Masterfully crafted. An excellent example of why I read his articles.

Now ask yourself, how many non-dungeon crawl genre games have you either played in or run in a dungeon-crawl framework?

At least one? I’m willing to bet we all have.

More than one? I know I have… guilty as charged.
