Accidentally created during The Incursion by the strange infusion of a dark matter material from an alternate dimension, Eclipse was once a small time thug now turned major criminal threat to the law. Unlike other attempts to combine the shadowy molecules with living DNA, Eclipse survived the event by means unknown and has found great power in harnessing his newly granted abilities.

| Dark Light Summons | Good | Eclipse can manifest horrific, shadowy creatures to do his bidding from the darkness around him. Once summoned the manifestations are tied to the will of Eclipse and can only be destroyed by strong light. |
| Surround in Shadows | Good | Eclipse can create shadows even in the brightest of light. He can select a single individual to surround in this inky darkness. A favorite tactic is to use this power to create a doorway to escape via his Travel the Shadowy Path should he find himself outmatched. |
