Adding a Wiki to the KORPG™ site

After some serious consideration vis-a-vis the difficulty in adding, maintaining, compiling, etc. a wiki to this site, I decided it was time to bite the bullet as it were and just go ahead and do it.

Announcing the KORPG™ Wiki

Why you ask?

Well, I hopefully sum up my reasons on the wiki homepage, but allow me to reiterate them here as well:

Whereas forums are good for discussions, and the blog is good for posting concepts and ideas, the KORPG™ site has been missing a good location to act as a repository for all those awesome ideas that are discussed or posted in either of the other two.

An excellent example has been the Astrolomancer role playing game rules. While already containing virtually everything necessary for, what I think is a rather unique rpg, the information is spread across multiple blog posts and isn’t easily compiled.

As a result, I decided that what I really needed was a place to collect and coalesce these various pieces to products and ideas.

Hopefully you find this resource as useful as I.

Bear with me as I try to fill in the wiki with all those scattered details and try to find a way to bring links on the blogs and forums, based on product name, to the data warehoused there. I only started the wiki this evening, but feel it is detailed enough already to at least permit it to be live.

Go check it out and let me know what you think.

  1. Looks awesome. Now I can read through the Astrolomancer material in one place! Very cool.

  2. Kevin says:

Yeah, having to go from blog post to blog post was starting to annoy me something fierce. Apparently necessity isn’t my mother of invention, but annoyance will sure light a fire under me.
