I won’t sugar coat this. And I won’t bore you with unnecessary details.
We’re moving. Not the blog or the site, my family and I.
I will be starting a new job in Wyoming on the 7th of September.
This wouldn’t even be important enough for me to consider it worthy of a blog posting, but because the move is happening so rapidly and we have a TON of stuff to deal with (move schools, sell/buy house, find temporary lodging, etc.) I won’t be posting or replying to comments nearly as often as I have come accustomed to doing.
Rest assured that I’ll be back periodically to marvel you all with my vast brilliance and insights.
These are the jokes people, you should be laughing… or at least smiling here. – KO
In the meantime, Mark should be able to annoy you all well enough that my absense will be but a passing phase. And who knows, maybe Randall or Wheels will finally agree to join in as authors. One of them owes us a review at least.
Oh, and if the lack of posting from me increases the popularity of this blog, nobody tell me… ok?

Wow, 200 posts on this blog. Where has the time gone? Happy posturday! (I just love making up new words.)
For the benefit of our readers, we wanted to do something special with this milestone. And so Mark and I each devised a set of questions to send to each other. We agreed that these questions would dig deep, asking serious, thought-provoking queries of us. Neither of us pulled any punches from both the question or answer side of the coin; we agreed to answer 6 of the 10 questions posed, but surprisingly we each tried to answer them all.

Sure enough, this is it… the 100th post!
When this blog started, I expected it to focus on the KORE rules. But it’s grown to much more. Looking back over the past 100 posts I’d like to highlight a few things of note:
- Mark came on board and has added some very interesting thoughts and posts to the blog. I want to thank him for his time and talents.
- I’ve added a few new game ideas. I never thought I’d create a card game or a board game… who knew I had it in me. Thanks to those who have offered to help or who have already helped in some fashion. Specifically Chris of 6d6Fireball and Viri Cordova from The Bard of Valiant.
- I became a member of the RPG Bloggers Network which has increased my visibility immensely. It’s nice to share ideas with the RPG public and not a vacuum. Besides, the voices in my head were getting stale… I clearly needed a new audience. Thanks RPGBN.

- Game Design Category, I resolve to finish Politics: The Board Game.

- RPG Design Category, I resolve to release the Beta version of the KORE rpg.
- RPG Play Category, I resolve to make Convergence bigger and better.
- General Category, I resolve to post more on this blog than I did last year.
- General Category, I resolve to have fun in all my endeavors here and in my gaming life in general.
- Family Category, most importantly, I resolve to spend more time with my family and continue to introduce my kids to the wonders of gaming.
