I’m going to need an artist

Posted by: Kevin   in Board Game, Game Design

I can see now that I’m going to need an artist.
Consider this a post for advice/assistance/a call to arms/a request for input/etc.

I think both my game ideas have merit, I’ve been playtesting and refining the initial ideas for both and think I’m nearing a point where I need to at least think about where the next steps might lead. Those who know me even moderately well will attest that I am not an artist.

So here’s the deal: I need an artist who can help me make my vision of the Political Board Game and the Mad Scientist Card Game a reality.

I can’t offer any money for the project. I can’t even offer any guarantee that the project will ever net any real money for us to share in. I have a good idea what I want in the artwork, and am willing to live with free downloaded clipart as a temporary solution, but within the next 6 months to a year I’d like to have art dedicated to a beta mock-up for both games.

I can promise that your name would feature prominately in the game. And in the event we ever do make any money on these projects, rest assured that your work would not go unrewarded.

Yea, I know, it’s vague and unpredictable. But unfortunately that’s the way it has to be for now. If you’re a struggling artist willing to struggle some more, contact me.
